Sporting CP 2–2 Tondela: Late chaos as stoppage-time own goal and Santana strike steal point
Sporting CP dropped points at home in a 2–2 draw with Tondela after a wild finish in Lisbon. Luis Javier Suárez put Sporting ahead on 62 minutes, and a stoppage-time own goal from Salvador Blopa looked to have doubled the lead moments after Makan Aïko missed a penalty. Tondela refused to fold, first forcing a João Silva own goal on 78 minutes and then snatching a draw through Cícero Clébson Alves Santana’s 90+4th-minute equaliser.
